Featured Rider: Zoe Hoster

How long have you been using MoGo?

I’ve been a Mogo member pretty much since in launched in spring of 2017. I was so excited to see a station installed on my block in West Village.

Why do you use MoGo?

I love biking around Detroit, especially now that we have more bike lanes. I use Mogo often when I’m heading to downtown or midtown – commuting to the Ren Cen or going to the library, church, bars, restaurants, etc.

What are the biggest benefits MoGo has provided?

Mogo gives me the flexibility to take a one-way bike ride. I love that I can bike to my destination and then take the bus or rideshare home if it’s late, I’ve had a couple drinks, or the weather takes a turn for the worse.

What would you improve about MoGo?

I would love for Mogo to add electric bikes.

How has MoGo changed your experience in Detroit?

Detroit is the friendliest place I’ve ever lived. When I bike around the city, neighbors wave to me from their porches. I wouldn’t get that driving a car.

Where would you like a new station?

At Mack & Van Dyke. I’d like to be able to take bike share to the Commons coffee shop/community center.
