MoGo Rides to 500,000

09/03/2021

It’s been four years and a few months since MoGo officially launched Detroit’s first, and only bikeshare program. In those four years, we’ve grown from 44 stations to 75, and increased our footprint from the Greater Downtown Detroit area to include Northwest Detroit, Berkley, Oak Park, Huntington Woods, Royal Oak, and Ferndale.

As we’ve grown and expanded, our members and casual riders have too, bringing us closer and closer to our next big milestone: 500,000 rides! With that number soon approaching, we thought we’d give all riders – members or not – the chance to win some extremely exclusive prizes that we’ve never offered before.

Here’s how it works: beginning Monday, September 13th, the individual with the most rides per week will win their choice of MoGo swag and a MoGo pass. For swag, riders can choose between a MoGo shirt and a MoGo baseball hat, and for passes, riders can choose between a free Annual Pass, or 2 free monthly passes for themselves and a friend. The weekly competition will continue until we get to 500,000 rides.

The person who takes MoGo’s 500,000th ride will win MoGo for life, along with a full swag pack that includes a shirt, baseball cap, rope bag, winter hat and gloves, lanyard, sticker, and phone wallet.

Good luck to you all, and happy riding!
