Explore Local Food in Detroit with MoGo and Taste the Local Difference

Hop on one of MoGo’s red cruisers and pedal your way through West Village, Eastern Market, and Midtown’s finest local food businesses. New this year, MoGo, Detroit’s non-profit bike-share organization, is proud to partner with Taste the Local Difference for a featured foodie bike tour. Riders can find the ride in the TOTAGO app by searching ‘Taste the Local Difference x MoGo’. In order to see each of the recommended stops along the way, tap ‘Route Map’. The route takes riders along the Joseph Campau Greenway, through the Dequindre Cut, and around the Eastern Market. Scheduled ride stops include BreadlessSister PieMarrowAvalon – MidtownFolk, and Mudgie’s. With nationally recognized cookbook authors, James Beard award nominees, and pillars of the Detroit food scene along this route, you’re sure to finish with a happy tummy.

 

Clocking in at just under ten miles, this route is family friendly with stops that are sure to please everyone in your party. First time MoGo users can hop on for $1 + .25 cents a minute, get an $18 prepaid pass (good for 2 hours of riding), or can opt for a monthly or annual pass for more savings.

 

MoGo is Metro Detroit’s non-profit bike-share organization, servicing the greater downtown Detroit area, Northwest Detroit, Ferndale, Royal Oak, Oak Park, Berkley, and Huntington Woods.
