How long have you been using MoGo?

I started before I even officially moved to Detroit.  After I accepted a job at Wayne State, my wife and I used MoGo to check out campus and look for a place to live.

Why do you use MoGo?

I use it for pretty much everything!  Commuting, grocery shopping, coffee runs, and exercise once in a while.  I’ve also taken students out on MoGo bikes to work on a mapping project in Midtown.

What are the biggest benefits MoGo has provided?

It’s nice to have dependable access to a bike share wherever I go instead of worrying about how much it costs to park or where to leave my bike.

How did you commute before using MoGo?

We’re a one car family, so I typically used to ride my personal bike or bug my wife to drop me off.

What would you improve about MoGo?

I wish there were a cheaper way to check bikes out for longer rides.  Without a station nearby, it’s tough to get around Belle Isle in half an hour.

How has MoGo changed your experience in Detroit?

MoGo has helped me see Detroit as a place to inhabit and explore rather than just a place to drive through.

Where would you like a new station?

I’m excited about the expansion up towards the Livernois corridor, and it would be great to have a few stops that bridge the gap to the current stations.

Anything else?

On top of everything else, I didn’t expect the MoGo bikes to be so fun to ride!
